“My buddy and I stayed there recently on a motorcycle tour through Colorado. The owners have done a nice job on the rooms. It’s a historic building but very nicely renovated and tastefully furnished. The location is perfect-smack dab in the middle of Creed’s main drag and across from a very good restaurant in the Hotel Creed. And David (the owner) couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. We had a minor issue and he came right over to take care of it. There are steps up to the 2nd floor rooms (which is clear in property communications) so you should know that. Last, I recommend MJ’s for breakfast!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Aspen Inn. It was nice and quiet before busy season. Easy self check in process and prompt responses to any questions we had. Food options in town seem to close at 6pm so be sure to leave time for dinner or bring snacks. There is a fridge for communal use as well as a few snacks and coffee machine. Also, a balcony outback that we loved having a glass of wine on together. Hosts were most gracious and personable! We very much look forward to our return!”

“Thank you, Dave and Rhonda, hosting us for a really nice getaway! The Inn is down home. We stayed there on November 1, but we were warm and cozy in the room, with big windows and stunning views of the mountains, and a fun view of the Main Street. The room was decorated with murals of aspen. The gorgeous bed was made from tree branches that were stripped, sanded, and polished to a satin finish. There was a long, narrow kitchen. Different types of tea peeked out of little drawers in a beautiful wood hutch. Microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, everything you need. There’s a balcony in the back to enjoy coffee, once again with a beautiful wood, unspoiled view. The scenery around Creede is astonishing. It has to be seen to be believed: the mountain rears up at 90o from the creek and the town. Creede doesn’t put on any airs: just real people inviting visitors to enjoy their lives with them. No franchises, no political signs, no advertising.”

“Visited the Aspen Inn during a kayak trip through Colorado and could not have picked a better place to stop. Owners David and Denise were extremely communicative and even reached out to offer to provide dinner since their were no restaurants open at the time I was staying, which was fantastic. David even gave me tour of the mountain roads after dinner. The hotel itself was rustic, clean and well stocked with coffee and snacks for guests. I even had to unexpectedly book the room again the next night due to a camping issue and the owners accommodated me with no issues. The Aspen Inn is a must stay for anyone visiting Creede or the surrounding area.”

“We stayed 1 night at the Aspen Inn. It's a very unique place to stay. The room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was spotless. They even have complimentary snacks and water. It has a small common area kitchenette. Everything you need is a short walk away. We were very happy with our stay.”

“Super cute places to stay! We had a king bed with the balcony. Decorated nicely. Typically, these types of rooms are smaller than your chain hotel lodging bit there is enough room. Private bath and plenty of coffee or snacks for the morning. Dog friendly ( w/ extra fee) and right on main street. We stayed mid week late fall so it was pretty quiet. If historic places are your thing then I would recommend staying here. Prices are reasonable. Our room did not have much of a view but we knew that before reserving a room. Late fall there was plenty of parking. I would guess not so much in the summertime.”
